Hire me

I contract as a principal engineer, corp-to-corp.

A staff-plus engineer, embedded in your team. Not a reviewer and not an advisor — in the pager, in the PRs, and on whatever the team is most stuck on that quarter. I have held that seat as a contractor inside Cigna’s estate for years, which is where much of the catalog comes from.

The terms, stated once. Long engagements, corp-to-corp, through UCBY Holdings LLC. Not a contract-to-hire seat. That is also the answer for a recruiter placing a perm role: I’m not a candidate for one, and converting me later isn’t on the table.

Paper is an MSA and a SOW. I’ll sign your NDA first. W-9 and certificate of insurance on request. No rate card on this site — the number comes out of the scope.

The seat earns its keep on the estate, not the greenfield. Account approvals, directory groups that don’t carry the permissions the estate assumed, a platform team’s golden modules, a review board: I’ve run that gauntlet from the tenant’s side and sent the PRs rather than filing tickets about them. Recent production AI sits in the same seat, not beside it.

Duration is long by design, and I don’t publish a range. A carve is a fixed scope with an end date; this is the seat you keep filled while the roadmap changes under it. For a director or a VP staffing a principal-level seat they can’t fill internally. Not a body shop, and not a seat I fill with someone else.
